BCA Program Objectives

Understand the fundamental concepts of computers, software, hardware and peripheral devices and evolution of computer technologies.
Gain knowledge to identify, explain and apply functional programming and object-oriented programming techniques and use of databases to develop computer programs.
Understand the front end and backend of software applications.
Acquire knowledge about computer networks, network devices and their configuration protocols, security concepts at various level etc.
Acquire technical skills to lead a productive life in the society as a professional or as an entrepreneur.

BCA Program Outcomes

Gain a complete exposure to the theories and practices of Computer Science.
Get transformed into a skilled learner and active programmer to develop software applications for real problems.
Work as a value member or leader of team to develop software solutions.
Demonstrate their professional and ethical responsibilities towards society.

PGDCA Programme Objectives

The primary objective of this program is to prepare students for careers in the software industry, understanding and skills, related to the use of computers and its applications.
This course provides students with options to specialize in new and upcoming technologies.
To provide opportunity for the study of modern methods of information processing and its applications.
To develop among students the programming techniques and the problem-solving skills through programming.
To prepare students who wish to go on to further studies in computer science and related subjects.

PGDCA Program Outcomes

Fundamental Knowledge Enrichment: Program trains students with the core computer science and Information Technology (IT) knowledge domains.
Critical Thinking Development: The program develops the skills of critical thinking, problem solving, evaluative learning of various techniques, and understanding the essence of the problem.
Advanced Tools Usage: The program teaches the students to apply the advanced tools to solve real world problems.
Team Work and Leadership Development: Trains students to work in a team and also to take leadership of the project management team.
